CORRECTION TACTICAL RESPONSE TEAM COURSE  ( CTRT-C / TIER I )

This course is designed for “entry level” personnel destined for assignment to a Correction Tactical Response Team or an entire “newly formed” Correction Tactical Response Team with no or limited previous tactical experience and covers the initial training of the members (BELT-Basic Entry Level Training).  Training will include but not be limited to;

·        Riot Control Procedures

·        Cell Extraction Operations

·        “MOVE” Operations

·        Personnel Handling Techniques

·        Limited CQB (TIER I)

·        Limited Methods of Entry (Breaching)

·        Planning Considerations

·        Personnel Handling Procedures

·        Interagency/Department/Organization Coordination

·        Operations within Contaminated Environments

·        Use of Less Lethal during Tactical Operations

·        Tactical Scenarios in Various Environments
