CORRECTION TACTICAL RESPONSE TEAM COURSE ( CTRT-C / TIER II )
This course is designed for the Correction Tactical Response Team with a basic level of expertise and includes a review of basic skills and further specialized training. Training is designed to review the basic skill sets as well as introduce the TRT member to the additional skills required to operate in direct support of Special Weapons and Tactics Teams within a Correction environment. Training will include but not be limited to;
· Overview of the Tactical Response Team Mission
· Use of Force / Rules of Engagement (ROE)
· Tactical Physical Training
· Tactical Planning Review
· Tactical Medicine Review
· Tactical Communications Review
· Riot Control Formations Review
· Riot Control Procedures Review
· Cell Extraction Operations Review
· “MOVE” Operations Review
· Personnel Handling Techniques Review
· Interagency/Department/Organization Coordination Review
· Use of Less Lethal during Tactical Operations
· Introduction to CMMS (Handgun, Carbine-SMG, Shotgun)
· CQB (TIER I-II)
· Limited Methods of Entry (Breaching)
· Tactical Scenarios in Various Environments
