TACTICAL EMS CRISIS MANAGER TRAINING COURSE (TEMSCMT-C)
The Tactical Emergency Medical Crisis Manager Training Course is designed to provide the crisis manager with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, organize, and provide immediate evacuation out of the crisis area of injured personnel. The course provides training in immediate life support and first aid. Classes will include classroom as well as hands on instruction culminating with a realistic training exercise. Students will receive classes on duties and responsibilities, situation assessment, establishment of the EMS portion of the holding area, post assault procedures, coordination with local EMS/ emergency support systems to include HAZMAT, establishing landing zone for medical evacuation of patients, communication, rapid triage procedures and hazardous material safety/awareness. Also included in the program will be an introduction to the work of the individual assault team member/team to include student participation in the basics of tactical marksmanship and CQB.
