SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

 

  • Three years as the Operations and Intelligence, and Demolitions Sergeant of a Detachment Specifically tasked to Test and Evaluate new technologies/materials in support of all USSOCOM forces. (1998-2001)

 

  • Three years as the Detachment Assistant Operations Sergeant of a Special Operations Military Freefall Detachment, responsible for assisting in the training/leading of twelve personnel in the conduct of special reconnaissance and direct action operations with emphasis on specialized urban combat.  (1994-1997)

 

  • Four years as the Demolition’s Sergeant of a Special Operations Military Freefall Detachment, responsible for all areas pertaining to demolition’s, while working as a member of a special       reconnaissance and direct action operations team.  (1990-1994)

 

  • Developed course curriculum and was a lead instructor for Special Operations Training (SOT) at Mott Lake Compound as a member of 5th SFG(A).  (1985-1986)

 

  • Twenty one years training and supervising US and friendly foreign law enforcement/military personnel in the use of demolition’s, small unit tactics, interior tactics (CQB), counter terrorism operations, urban special operations and air operations. (1985-present)

 

  • Twenty five years training and supervising US and friendly foreign law enforcement/military personnel in the use of demolition’s, specialty marksmanship, small unit tactics, interior tactics (CQB), counter terrorism operations, urban special operations and air operations. (1981-present)

 

  • Instructor for police tactical response team training seminars.  (1999 -present)

 

  • Have held and worked the following Army/Special Forces military occupational specialties:

            Infantry  (11B)
            Special Operations Demolition’s Sergeant (18C)
            Special Operations Intelligence Sergeant (18F)

 

  • Current member of the National Tactical Officers Association, International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI), International Association of Correctional Training Personnel, American Board for Certification in Homeland Security/A.B.C.H.S. (Level III).

 

 

 SIGNIFICANT CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

 

  • Assisted in the development and implementation of a law enforcement special operations tactical training (SWAT) model for the country of Kosovo as part of a US DOJ / ICITAP law enforcement training initiative.

 

  • Awarded numerous commendations for initiative and achievement including the Bronze Star Medal for actions inside Iraq during Operation Desert Storm.
