SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

 

 

·        Twelve years specialized experience as an instructor providing consultation and training in unconventional operations and counter terrorism to various US military, US Federal, state and local law enforcement and friendly foreign special operations units.

 

·        Member of a National Guard Special Operations enhanced reconnaissance-direct action element, responsible for the conduct of specialized operations with emphasis on specialized urban combat.  

 

·        One year as the Team Sergeant of a Special Operations Military Freefall Detachment with 19th SFG(A),  responsible for training/leading eleven personnel in the conduct of special reconnaissance and  direct action operations with emphasis on specialized urban combat (2005-2006). 

·        Two years as the Assistant Operations and Intelligence NCO of a Special Operations Military Freefall Detachment with 19th SFG(A), responsible for all areas pertaining to intelligence, while working as a member of a special reconnaissance and direct action operations team (2004-2005). 

 

·        Six years as the Medical Sergeant of a Special Operations Military Free-Fall Detachment with 5th SFG(A), responsible for all areas pertaining to tactical medicine while working as a member of a special reconnaissance and direct action operations team (1998-2003). 

 

·        Developed course curriculum and was a lead instructor within ILRRPS for the Medical training program and served as an instructor for the sniper and SERE programs.

 

·        Two years operating as a member of a multi-jurisdictional counter-drug unit responsible for operations in a three state region of the eastern United States with responsibility for training unit members and leading them on LE operations (2000-2001). 

 

·        Instructor for specialized tactical methods of entry courses/ including explosive breaching. (1999 - present)

 

·        Have held and worked the following Army/Special Forces military occupational specialties:

 

            Infantry (11B)

            Special Operations Medical Sergeant (18D)

            Special Operations Intelligence Sergeant (18F)

            Special Forces Detachment Operations Sergeant (18Z)

 

 

SIGNIFICANT CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

 

 

·        Awarded seven commendations for initiative and achievement including the Bronze Star Medal for actions inside Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, one Meritorious service medal, and five Army Commendation Medals for service.
